For over 35 years the Elliott family has be lighting up their home on Minerva Road, A.K.A. CANDY CANE LANE.  The city of Cathedral City has proclaimed December as “CANDY CANE LANE MONTH.”  As one of the founding families we have seen the crowds grow from a handful to now over an estimated  70,000 people who drive by or walk our street.

It is our pleasure to continue to offer this annual presentation.  No one on the block ever receives any help from the Cathedral City or Southern California Edison.  The full cost of the displays and electricity are paid by each homeowner.  There is NO obligation for any homeowner to participate in the annual lighting event.

The best time to view Candy Cane Lane would be the two weeks prior to Christmas.  Our family encourages you to come and enjoy the displays.  Most displays will go dark after 10 pm. Please respect the homeowner’s property.  Watch your children, stay safe, and have a happy holiday season.
